Branding Project for Immobiliare Imóveis

Immobiliare Imóveis is new real estate company in Brasília. It was a long logo design process involving the creation of the symbol, choosing the type and color. My client likes to keep things in close sight, and followed the design process very closely. Usually I don’t feel confortable with that, but in this case was a great thing, since he deeply understands the real estate market here, and filled me in with invaluable information regarding the market itself, and some human behavior. A very nice process. The company has everything to dominate the market.

I also customized the website, from a template.  Since we were aiming for a low cost website, the solution was perfect for their needs. As soon as the website goes online, I will post it here.

Logo Design for Farofa

Farofa is a new restaurant that opened in downtown Belo Horizonte. It focuses on good food at affordable prices. In a neighborhood that has a ton of different restaurants, all of them are very affordable, but most of them, aren’t that clean and not at all designish. Farofa comes with the concept to offer good quality food for low prices. A clean place, with a nice decoration, and great food, for the everyday meals. A lot of people work at downtown, so this restaurant will be a sucess for sure. If you are in Belo Horizonte, make sure to stop by by for a nice meal. The restaurant is at Av. Afonso Pena with R. Bahia.

The logo was crafted with a custom made type.

For the project, my client needed a character. Some cute image to touch peoples hearths. Once she asked me for that lllustration, I couldn’t think of anyone else than Denise Schwenck. She has beautiful blog, with tons of illustrations. A few days after I asked her, she sent me some sketches. A few days after that, my client approved the skecth, and she did a vector/colored version. And here it is. We liked that a lot, and my client is very happy with the result of the whole work.

National Geographic’s International Photography Contest 2009

How amazing this world can be! I just saw the National Geographic’s International Photography Contest 2009 at Big Picture. Those pictures makes me wanna leave this office right now, and get some wild place with my camera. It’s at least inspiring, lifewise.
