Jota 4 is a press office composed by 4 journalists. The idea to substitute the A with the 4 ended up granting a nice look for the logo, and the colors also created a very unique and stylish image. Below you can see more versions of the logo, in different backgrounds and color applications.

Floriano is a Pizza Restaurant. The client asked me to design the logo, delivery package and menu. The logo consists of this antique typography and the icon which has various meanings and interpretations. The icon ressambles a flower, that in portuguese is written “Flor”. You can also interpret the icon as a table seen from atop, with eight people sitting around it, and in a third reading of the image you can see a pizza with it’s eight slices also seen from atop.

Floriano é uma pizzaria. O cliente me pediu para fazer o design da logo, da embalagem de delivery e do menu. A logo consiste nesta tipografia antiga e um ícone que permite algumas interpretações. Com a imagem de uma flor, fazendo uma referência direta ao nome, podemos também interpretar o ícone como uma mesa redonda, vista de cima, com oito pessoas sentadas ao redor. E ainda em uma terceira leitura da imagem, podemos ver uma pizza com oito fatias.

Escalada Livre is an initiative by some sport climbers to gather information about the sport and publicize what have been done regarding environmental, security and administration issues of climbing sites. It’s a website with information about the local climbers and news such as championships and videos from world class climbers.

The logo was designed on the subject of climbing, obviously, but also thinking that it would need to fit well in a small sized horizontally oriented header. The spider or the lizard are the first simbols all climbers use to indicate the sport, since they are natural climbers, but I chose the Ant cuase it’s also a natural climber, awesomely strong and one of the most hardworking animals in nature. The image of the ant in the logo ressambles the position of a human climbing, and this was decisive factor for choosing this image.

Aldeia is a new concept of housing here in Brazil, which is following the world trend for sustainable buildings. The whole idea behind it consists of building low cost and highly sustainable houses and communities, where the future inhabitants of the community take part on the construction of their homes and neighborhood. It’s a very inteligent project  with a strong focus in helping brazilian society.

Amagran is an ornamental stone company. It deals with all kinds of ornamental stone for building. This is the logo I designed for them.

A nice little video about UX design.

The logo project was done, keeping in mind that I had to make something that would stand out in the crowd. There are tons of trance music labels around the world, but most of them have a poor graphic material.

Staying on the concept of the mosaic, I had to find some kind of icon that would represent it, and still be some psychedelic thing. This is the solution I crafted. I also created some variations of the logo. The Mosaico branding project goes much beyond the logo, and soon I will be posting more designs for this.

I am a great fan of Lovely Package. Today I saw 2 package designs that made me think. This Abella pack for honey. I don’t question the creativity and beauty of this design. But does it work? I’m not an expert in package design, but the honey glass bottle really looks like a perfume bottle. How much does this bottle costs in relation to the honey inside? Does it have enough honey for, let’s say, 2 weeks of breakfast for a couple?

They say…

“The products consist of 100% pure, raw, unfiltered honey created by master beekeepers using age-old techniques. Every drop is a work of art.”

My question is, can you take all this ultra special honey out of this bottle? These bottles work fine for perfume, that are a very liquid/volatile product, but honey?
